67 - Bringing SC Historic and Cultural Resources to MS and HS Social Studies Classrooms
Limited Capacity seats available

Virtual SC is working on an exciting new program to bring the state's historic and cultural resources into the MS and HS social studies classrooms. We are working to create virtual trips to the state's historic sites that social studies teachers can use with their students. The goal is to bring SC and US history to life with local resources that enrich students' understanding of historical events and developments and support standards-based learning. We would like to encourage the participants in the session to bring their own knowledge of local history and resources, or of topics and themes that they would like to use in their classrooms in the form of virtual fieldtrips. Participants will receive a Google Form to communicate ideas and provide feedback.
